Just got registration info for grad school ^_^ it’s funny how excited/nervous/scared I am! Never left California on my own, but this could be a whole new chapter, I can grow from this and learn a great skill while I’m at it! So as of now my attitude is BRING.IT.ON. Cincinnati. All I can do is try my best and hope it’s enough :) Hope all of you are having a great day there is an optimistic flair in mine today!

These are the courses I’ll be taking:

1. Order & Tectonics: This foundation studio marries organizational logics to tectonic culture as the starting point for architectural form vocabulary.  The tectonic is proposed as an organizational order that stems directly from construction to include material, structural, and technical principles. This will be addressed on several scales, and in a conceptual manner. Selected texts and discussion accompany and inform the design work.This studio is structured for collaboration with the skills and history courses.
2. Design Visualization Skills 1:mastering presentation
3. History of Architecture to 1600: self explanatory
4. Construction Tech/Design Science 2: In-depth study of issues pertaining to structures, environmental systems, and construction as they relate to the sequence of SEC Studio

This is going to be so much fun :D

This week may not be the best, but looking up my new school is getting me really excited to be part of it! Can”t wait for it :)
